Wow, and Wow! What a sandwich. There is no fuss with this place. Good food, simple sides, repeat customer from me. I would recommend this any time you want a great sandwich at a great price! We had the italians and the lobster roll, both fantastic!

We ordered some take out yesterday for lunch. Very basic inside, but they're very quick! I got a steak and cheese and it was stuffed full, but could have used a little more cheese. The braided roll was very fresh. My husband got their Italian and that sub was HEAVY! They did add a little too much of the pickles and not enough of the hots. We'll definitely be back!

Best Italian sub and Arancini I've had in my life. The meat sauce is also excellent. Seriously the best subshop in Stoneham and all surrounding towns.

I've been coming here for years, 1st off, BEST Italian subs in Mass that I've found! What I am very impressed and super grateful for is I called to place a sandwich tray order for Xmas Eve (and I called late in the season so this is my fault) and even though they were technically not taking anymore orders they still took my order and I didn't even have to beg and plead they just did it, I mean this place gives good old fashioned great customer service, that's what I'm talking about. If you haven't been here it's worth driving out of your way, there's nothing fancy, its a small place, the guys behind the counter are quick and to the point (as it should be) but dear lord they can make a fantastic Italian sub. Everything else there is fantastic but the italian is the one that you will try, then a few weeks later be thinking about it in the middle of the day and then make a 45 min drive just to go there and get that damn sub lol.

I stopped in one weekday because I heard that this was THE place to get an Italian sub. I lucked out in finding street parking nearby, so I knew that it was meant to be. When I walked into the shop, there was one person in front of me, and when I left, there were a few people behind me in line, so it wasn't packed per se, but they had a constant flow of customers. Anthony's Italian specialties is definitely a no-frills kind of place, but the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the portions are large. The Italian sub that I got became three different meals, so it was well worth the price. It's a hidden gem, for sure.
